Richard's memory: 1954 Grey Cup

This memory was shared by a fan.

1954, I was 10 years old. Not too many families had TV, but there was an electronic store on Victoria ave in Westmount that had a TV in the window and it was playing the Grey Cup game between Edmonton and Montreal.

We were about 8 kids looking through the window from outside in the snow, watching the game. We were all sure the Als would win, but Chuck Hunsinger apparently fumbled the ball, leading to an Edmonton win. We were not happy but remained FANS of the Als.
