Pierre Desjardins, #63


Pierre Desjardins signed up with the Alouettes after finishing university. Desjardins was an offensive lineman who was popular with fans, and in 1970, while offensive team captain, helped the Alouettes win the Grey Cup for the first time in 25 years. He retired in 1971 to concentrate on business.

In 1972, his #63 jersey was retired by the Alouettes, and in 2000 he was elected to the Panthéon des sports du Québec.
